My body will represent my strength not my weakness.

Today was the start of my challenge. Sometimes you
don't realize what you get yourself into until you actually have to do it. I
know I am the biggest procrastinator and tell myself that I am going to do
something but most of the time I never stick to what I say. I can honestly say
that I have broken that curse. Today I started my herbal life product at 6:30
am. First I had to drink a tsp. of aloe and 8 oz. of water. Then I had to drink
a tsp. of tea and another 8 oz. glass of hot water. Right after I drank the
tea, I had to drink a cookie and cream shake with 8 oz. of water. But that’s
not all then I had to drink two cups of water.
As tempting as my day was I manage to pull through.
Sometimes you get tempted to get things when you allow your mind to have
control. I think the reason I survive through today was because I trained
myself to avoid getting to the point when I was hungry. I made sure that I eat
a protein bar or fruit if I was actually hungry and lots of water as well as my
shake.
During today I almost broke my challenge without
realizing that I was in one. As funny as that sounds it actually almost
happened. Since I am interning at HBO Latin America they decided to start
screening shows and their series at the office. While they were screening they
provided snacks such as popcorn and potato chips. As the person in charged
offered me some, without thinking I reached my hand out to grab a plate. I
immediately stopped and pause with an ashamed look on my face. I couldn't
believe that I haven't even fully begun my challenge and almost broke it at the
same time.
What I realized during my first day of my challenge
is that the devil is very busy. He disguises himself in many forms. I believe
that he knows I was a bit unsure and he tempted me to want to eat the chips but
I didn't let him. When you want something make sure you really want it because
there is always someone watching and ready to see you fall down.

But it will get better; you just gotta make it through the hard stuff
first."- Unknown
